Some interesting facts: The number of phages, bacteria-infecting viruses, inhabiting our body numbers in the trillions; About three pounds of microbes inhabit our bodies; With so many microbes in us, we are both an organism and a densely populated ecosystem; There are 7, 947 species of microbes on our tongue; Only 1 in 10 cells in the body is human.
